Gaming Website
This project is an online gaming store designed for gamers to easily browse, discover, and purchase video games. It offers a user-friendly interface with advanced search and filter options, detailed game information, user reviews, and secure checkout. The platform aims to create an engaging shopping experience tailored to gamers’ preferences and needs.
Design Process
Research & Understanding
We analyzed gamer behaviors, preferences, and pain points related to buying games online. Key findings included the need for easy discovery of new games, trusted reviews, and smooth payment options. Competitor analysis helped identify popular features and UI patterns.
Persona & Ideation
Created personas such as casual gamers, hardcore players, and gift buyers. Ideation focused on intuitive navigation, personalized recommendations, detailed game pages, and community engagement features like reviews and ratings.
Wireframing & UI Design
Wireframes for homepage, game catalog, product details, shopping cart, and checkout were created. The UI was designed with a dynamic, energetic style using dark themes and vibrant accents to appeal to gamers.
Prototyping & Testing
Interactive prototypes tested key flows like searching, filtering, purchasing, and reviewing games. Usability testing highlighted areas for improving filtering options and simplifying checkout. Iterations enhanced responsiveness and engagement.

2. Maya – 28 – Hardcore Gamer
Characteristics: Plays daily, follows gaming trends, values in-depth info.
Goals: Discover new releases and pre-order games.
Pain Points: Lack of detailed game specs, limited community reviews.
Needs: Comprehensive game details, forums, wishlist, advanced filters.
4. Lina – 19 – Student Gamer
Characteristics: Limited budget, looks for discounts and sales.
Goals: Get the best deals on games without compromising quality.
