An intelligent online appointment booking system that simplifies finding and scheduling medical visits. Users can search by doctor’s name, specialty, disease, hospital, or healthcare centers, making it easy to find the right healthcare provider quickly. The platform offers real-time availability, smart filtering, and seamless booking to improve patient experience and reduce waiting times.

Design Process

Research & Understanding

We began by analyzing the needs of patients and doctors, challenges with traditional appointment scheduling, and user expectations from an online platform. Competitor analysis and best practices for appointment booking were studied to define key features.

Persona & Ideation

User personas were created for different groups including patients with diverse needs, doctors, and healthcare administrators. Based on these personas, user flows and necessary features were defined, and innovative ideas were proposed to enhance user experience.

Wireframing & UI Design

Initial wireframes were designed for key pages such as search, results display, doctor profiles, booking, and appointment management. The UI design phase focused on ease of use, quick access, and a modern, clean look.

Prototyping & Testing

An interactive prototype was developed to test the user journey and platform functionality. User feedback and usability testing led to necessary improvements, streamlined booking processes, and increased user satisfaction.

  • Challenges: Forgetting to log meals, lack of user-friendly and precise tools

2. Dr. John, 45, Specialist Physician
  • Characteristics: High patient volume, needs to manage appointments efficiently

  • Needs: Clear appointment management interface, ability to update availability in real-time

  • Challenges: Overlapping appointments, no-shows, inefficient scheduling processes

3. Fatima, 60, Retired
  • Characteristics: Less tech-savvy, prefers simple and clear interfaces

  • Needs: Easy-to-use search and booking, clear instructions and support

  • Challenges: Difficulty navigating complex systems, limited mobile skills
